Filling out your app listing form is a crucial step when launching your app, and it requires careful consideration of each section. In this guide, we will walk you through each section of the form and provide tips on how to fill them out like a pro.

How to access to app listing form ?

To access the app listing form, click on the 'Launch' button located on the header menu of the CartInRed dashboard. Once you click the button, you will be directed to the 'Store Listing Details' page where you will see a form to fill out.

What does each section mean, and how do you fill them out?

  1. App Name: Your app’s name should be simple, memorable, and easy to spell. It should also hint at what your app does. Avoid generic terms or names that are too similar to existing apps. Your app name can be up to 30 characters long.

  2. Subtitle: This short description is crucial, especially for the App Store. Carefully select keywords that highlight your app's features or typical uses that resonate with your audience. Avoid generic descriptions such as the “world’s best app.” Your subtitle can be up to 30 characters long and appears below your app’s name throughout the App Store.

  3. Language: This is the language in which your app will be listed. Select the language accordingly.

  4. Major Category: Choose the category that best describes your business/app.

  5. Minor Category: Select the secondary category that you think describes your app the best after the major category.

  6. Description: This is the body copy that will appear on your app's page in the Play Store and App Store. Provide an engaging description that highlights the features and functionality of your app. The ideal description is a concise, informative paragraph followed by a shortlist of main features. Use terminology your target audience will appreciate and understand and communicate in the tone of your brand. The first sentence of your description is critical, as users can read it without having to tap to read more in the App Store. You have a character limit of 4000 in this section.

  7. Keywords: Carefully choose keywords that ensure your app is easily discoverable in relevant searches. Choose keywords based on words you think your audience will use to find an app like yours. Be specific when describing your app’s features and functionality. Improper use of keywords can lead to rejection, especially in the App Store. You have a character limit of 100 in this section.

  8. Privacy Policy URL: Fill out this field with the URL of the privacy policy on your store website.

  9. Support URL: This URL will be visible in stores to let your users know how to reach you in case of a support need. If you don't plan to have a specific channel for app support, it can be the URL of the ''contact'' page of your website.

  10. Marketing URL: Fill out this field with a URL that includes a piece of marketing information about your app. It can be your website URL if you don't have another specific page for marketing.

  11. Promotional Text: This text appears at the top of the description in the App Store for customers running devices iOS 11 or later. It is up to 170 characters long. Consider using promotional text to share the important features of your app, such as app-exclusive sales or other events within your app.

  12. Copyright: Fill out this field with the name of the person or entity that owns the exclusive rights to your app, preceded by the year that the rights were obtained. For example, ''2008 Acme
